Salt Lake Design Week runs November 14¬–18 in venues through out downtown Salt Lake. More than 25 events from open studio tours and hands-on labs to lectures and design competitions unite the design community and design fans. Register now at www.sldesignweek.org.
Design Week is hosted by the Salt Lake City chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, and is developing partnerships with AAF-Utah, AIA, IDSA, and other Salt Lake City design groups, museums, businesses and schools.

Salt Lake Design Week Lab @ the Leo
Salt Lake Design Week, November 14–18, features daily hands-on design workshops at The Leonardo, 200 East 500 South. Choose from illustration, product & industrial design, printmaking and architecture all taught by top professionals. Most Labs are free, some include a small materials fee.
Salt Lake Design Week Opening Night: Pixels of Fury
Kick of Salt Lake Design Week with Pixels of Fury: a Shutterstock Live Design Tournament on Monday, November 14 at 7 pm at The Leonardo, 200 East 500 South.
Pixles of Fury is a live-time design competition where dozens of designers will race to complete design challenges while the crowd cheers them on. The competition is fast and furious along with live music, drinks, and Shutterstock imagery and prizes!
Tickets are $5 for AIGA Members and $10 for General Public.

Natural History Museum of Utah's Design Collective: The Integrated Approach to Design
Behind-the-Scenes Panel Discussion
Salt Lake Design Week, November 14-18, wraps up with a behind-the-scenes panel discussion about the creation of the new Natural History Museum of Utah featuring the design team behind the project. The evening includes museum designers representing architecture, landscape, exhibit design, wayfinding and branding. Afterwards, mingle with the designers and enjoy live music and dessert in the gorgeous Canyon space of the new museum.

Open Studio Crawl with Salt Lake Design Week
Take a peek inside some of Salt Lake’s top design studios with the Open Studio Crawls during Salt Lake Design Week, November 14–18. For three nights, each studio will open its doors to the public, offering light refreshments, conversation and a peek at the latest design projects.
Free and open to the public.
